Thalaivar's 1995 mega-hit 'Muthu' has been re-released in theatres across Tamil Nadu as a birthday special. Now, the makers of his next film have announced a super update on the special occasion.

The announcement says that the title of Thalaivar 170 will be revealed in a special birthday teaser video tomorrow at 5 PM. Rajinikanth is said to play a retired Muslim cop who is fighting against the encounter culture. The movie stars Rajini, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, VJ Rakshan and many others with music by Anirudh.
