The new official teaser of director Shankar’s magnum opus ‘2.0’ has hit the web and it’s a celebration! Rajinikanth is reprising his lead role in the movie while Akshay Kumar is essaying the negative lead. So what is the teaser is all about? In one phrase: the return of Chitti the robot.

The director has given us a teaser which is striking in imagery and grandeur, for which Shankar is well known for. Be it the way mobile phones are being snatched away from people, the swirling whirlpool of bird, graphic transitions- all point to one thing- it’s going to be a terrific visual splendor.

The entrance of a super(evil) power needs the interception of an earlier superpower(Chitti) and the theme seems to be around this. The dismantled robot is brought back to life and sparks fly, fights ensue, who will win? AR Rahman's background score for the teaser is ultra cool as well.
