Tollywood sensation Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who has been Bollywood’s talk of the town ever since the release of ‘Kabir Singh’, has lashed out at a type of film critics.
Speaking to a YouTube channel, the ‘Arjun Reddy’ director said that certain type of film critics who don’t understand basics are a threat to the film industry more than piracy. “There is a difference between describing and objectifying. Calling a fat person a fat person is not objectification. ‘Kabir Singh’ has been panned for its writing, direction, etc. Someone gave the film just 2 stars but the audience have given it Rs 200 Cr,” Sandeep Reddy said.
“‘Arjun Reddy’ too was criticized by some but it had more to do with the film. When it comes to ‘Kabir Singh’, the critics have not spoken of the music, background score, sound design, cinematography, anything for that matter,” he rued.
