Legendary music director AR Rahman had opened a studio named YM Studio in Gummudipoondi in 2017, and now, stunning photographs of the beautifully conceived and constructed studio has come out.

Located in Iyer Kandigai Village in the Red Hills, YM Studios is a one of its kind studio made of recycled train containers and houses all advanced infrastructure to facilitate shooting of Feature films, TV Commercials,Virtual Reality shows and also for shooting Reality shows and photo shoots.

Spreading over 99 acres, this aesthetically designed film Studio is being utilized by many teams for their movie shoots as well as music recordings, and some of the earlier movies that have been shot there include Petta, 2.0, Kappaan, Comali and Kanchana 3. Seen here are some photos of the studio.
