Vijay TV’s Super Singer Season 9 – Grand launch date and time revealed!

Talent-hunting reality shows have always been a fan-favourite genre in the Tamil television space. ‘Super Singer’ is one such TV program that brought the limelight to hundreds of budding talents who are now renowned singers worldwide. Now, the flagship show being aired on Star Vijay is back! 

The grand launch of Super Singer season 9 will be on Saturday at 6.30 PM. The game show will be airing every Saturday and Sunday at the same time. It has always been the people’s favorite show and proved to be the most successful in the past eight seasons consecutively with a renowned panel of judges and legendary musicians taking part and wishing the budding talents. 

Super Singer season 9 begins with a mega musical battle with auditioned top 20 contestants of this season. Contestants are ranked as per their performance and the top scorer will be given a seat in the ‘Super 5 zone’.  Position in the super 5 zone keeps changing based on their performance week on week. Similarly, the super 5 zone will become the super 3 zone once the number of contestants reduces. 

Hence this season with unique and challenging rounds will be a treat to music fans. The top five finalists fight it out for the one coveted title ‘Super Singer’ based on the judge’s marks and audience votes. The panel of judges for this season will be Anuradha Sriram, Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal and Swetha Mohan.  The show will be hosted by none other than Priyanka Deshpande and Ma Ka Pa Anand.
