The reports about Devi Sri Prasad being replaced as the background score composer for Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh have now been officially confirmed by the production house. The makers announced that S. Thaman has come on board to handle the film’s background score.
However, the team clarified that the change was not due to any creative differences between Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) and the film’s unit. According to the makers, the production team was unable to send the required content to DSP on time, while the composer is currently busy with several other commitments. As a result, the team decided to bring Thaman on board to ensure the film’s post-production work progresses smoothly.
Sources suggest that Thaman’s inclusion was a strategic decision taken to meet the film’s timeline and avoid any possible delays in completion. With the film moving quickly through its production and post-production stages, the makers wanted to ensure everything stays on schedule.
Interestingly, the official note released by the production house did not mention a release date. This has sparked speculation that the film’s release might be preponed to March 19.
Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, with Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna playing the female leads. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers.
