Actress and Andhra Pradesh Minister Roja Selvamani was today in Tirumala to do a darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
Speaking on the occasion, Roja said, “I am happy to be here to take Lord’s blessings on my birthday. His divine appearance leaves me with tears in my eyes no matter how many times I come here.” She also thanked Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy for supporting her political rise, adding that she wants to use her tenure to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Roja was asked about the rumour that her children are going to get into movies. “Acting is never wrong. If my son and daughter want to enter the film industry, I will be quite happy. But my daughter wants to excel in her studies and become a scientist. She has no plans to get into the film industry. If she wants to enter the film industry, my support will always be there,” Roja added.
