Sivakarthikeyan is riding high in his career after delivering back to back blockbuster hits 'Doctor' and 'Don'. Though his most recent release 'Prince' failed to live up to the expectations fans are eagerly awaiting his next.

Siva is currently shooting for 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin in which Aditi Shankar is playing his pair and director Mysskin is the antagonist. Now the big news has come in that the family favorite hero has signed a new movie produced by Dil Raju who has bankrolled Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' which is releasing on Pongal 2023.

Sources say that popular Telugu director Harish Shankar will be helming the Sivakarthikeyan-Dil Raju project. The filmmaker has earlier given superhits with Pawan Kalyan (Gabbar Singh), Allu Arjun (Duvvada Jagannadham) and is currently directing Pawan Kalyan in 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh'. It is said that the Tamil/Telugu bilungual film will go on floors in February 2023 and the preproduction is in full swing.

Sivakarthikeyan is also committed to do 'SK 21' for Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International banner to be directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The film has Sai Pallavi as the female lead and will go on floors by March end or April next year.
