We all know that Sivakarthikeyan starrer 'Amaran' completed filming last month. It was reported that the biopic action drama is gearing up to hit the cinemas by the end of September. But the postponement of Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2' from August 15th has changed the release scenario in Tamil cinema.

The shooting for 'Pushpa 2' is yet to be concluded. Hence, the movie is likely to be delayed. Chiyaan Vikram's 'Thangalaan' is expected to take up the August 15th release now. However, sources tell us that there is a chance for 'Amaran' to clash with 'Thangalaan' at the box office on August 15th, if the final output of 'Amaran' is completely ready by the time.

Reports tell us that 'Amaran' was initially planned for the August release but due to 'Pushpa 2', they considered a September 27th release. We might get clarity regarding the August 15th releases in a week. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Sivakarthikeyan portrays the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan in 'Amaran', a biopic based on a book.
