Actor Siva Karthikeyan had recently given a comeback hit with the family entertainer Namma Veettu Pillai directed by Pandiraj, and the actor will be seen next on screen in Hero, directed by PS Mithran who had debuted last year with the Vishal movie Irumbuthirai.

Hero is produced by KJR Studios, and marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam actress Kalyani Priyadarshan. The movie also has Irumbuthirai's villain Arjun in an important role, Bollywood actor Abhay Deol and Ivaana, who had debuted in Bala's Naachiyaar.

After the first look and second look posters revealing the Superhero element in Hero, now it has been announced officially that the teaser of Hero will be released tomorrow(October 23) 11:03 am. Hero has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is set to release on December 20.
