Singa Airlines – World’s first airlines themed web series in Tamil

Web Series are the order of the day and J.K. Saravana the producer of ‘Chennai 600028’ and its sequel has turned director for ‘Singa Airlines’ the world’s first airlines themed drama series in Tamil language.  According to Saravana who is also writing the script and producing a Singa Airlines flight  SA 608 goes missing in mid-air in 2009 and Sruthi the only survivor goes into coma and wakes up in 2019.

The rest of the ‘Singa Airlines’ series deals with Charming pilots, Sassy Stewardes, Asia’s leading Airlines, an International Mafia Syndicate, Frustrated Interpol Agent and the quest to find out what really happened. The story is set encompassing 5 South East Asian countries, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam & Thailand. and was filmed on actual aircrafts and airports and sheds light on the working of not only the cabin crew but also the entire aviation business.  S.P. Balasubramaniam has sung a duet and theme song for the 26 episode series which is available on-demand in Toggle.
