‘Sindhubaadh’ teaser review – Vijay Sethupathi’s exhilarating action avatar

The teaser of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming movie ‘Sindhubaadh’ directed by S.U. Arunkumar has just landed and the one minute two seconds cut suggests an all-out action avatar of the Makkal Selvan in the offing.  The story is hinted as a man who runs from a big trouble and suddenly decides to face it as the voiceover narration points out.  There are exotic locations of Malaysia, flying bikes, cars toppling in motion and VJS kicking butts. What more can you ask?

S. U. Arunkumar has given two generically different movies ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’ and ‘Sethupathi’ which were both highly impressive.  The one grouse in the ‘Sindhubaadh’ teaser is why such an original director has allowed the voice-over style narration of ‘Super Deluxe’ to creep into his cut.

‘Sindhubaadh’ produced by Vansan Movies and K Productions has Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali as the lead pair while Linga, Vivek Prasanna and Suriya Vijay Sethupathi costar.  Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music, Vijay Karthik Kannan handles the camera and Ruben is in charge of the editing.  Its a summer 2019 release and meanwhile enjoy the teaser here.
