Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, last seen on screen as a transgender in Super Deluxe directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja is all set to make a return to screens with Sindhubaadh directed by Su Arunkumar and produced by Vansan Movies and K Productions.

This movie marks the third time the director and actor have come together, after Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi, and the audio launch event of Sindhubaadh was held recently in Chennai. Speaking during the event, Vijay Sethupathi revealed that the movie is all about what happens when the heroine is abducted by the villain and how the hero rescues her.

Sindhubaadh has Vijay Sethupathi's son Surya as his sidekick and they play petty thieves while Vijay Sethupathi's Iraivi pair Anjali plays the female lead. The movie also has Linga as the villain and Vivek Prasanna in an important role. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for Sindhubaadh which releases on June 21.
