The Simbu-Gautham Menon combo is one of the most loved by Tamil cinema fans thanks to the memorable magic they created with 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvya' that had Trisha as the female lead. After 'Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada' and 'Karthik Calling Jessie' the duo are joining hands for the fourth time in 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu'.

'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu' is almost ninety percent complete and the team is gearing up for the shoot of the final schedule this week. It has now been officially announced that popular young Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav has joined the cast of the film. The dance choreographer turned screenwriter and actor is busy in Kerala with films such as 'Ennile Villain', 'Pathira Kurubana' and 'Sundari Gardens'. This will mark his debut in Tamil.

'Vendhu Thanindhadu Kaadu' is produced by Vels Films International with A.R. Rahman scoring the music, Antony incharge of the editing and Siddhartha Nuni behind the lens. The film has Simbu romancing Siddhi Idnani while Radhika Sarathkumar , Siddique and Angelina Abraham in the cast.
