Maanaadu gets another hero!

Simbu who had just appeared on screen recently with his Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven is all set to begin shooting for his next, which is going to be the ninth movie of director Venkat Prabhu, the political entertainer Maanaadu.

Produced by Suresh Kamatchi’s V House productions, though Maanaadu was expected to start shooting early this month, Simbu is currently heading to UK for a brief trip to get trained in martial arts, besides also toning his physique, following which Maanaadu will begin rolling.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be announced officially, here’s an update on an exciting member added to the cast. Actor Jai, who was supposed to be the second hero in the shelved project Vettai Mannan starring Simbu, will play an important role in Maanaadu. Jai had also played cameos in Simbu’s Vaalu and Idhu Namma Aalu earlier.
