Actor Siddharth had last acted in the movie Aruvam co-starring Catherine Tresa, and after the horror flick, the actor is next returning on screen with an action packed romantic thriller Takkar, which is produced by Passion Studios. The release date of this movie has been announced officially.

Directed by Karthik G Krish who had debuted with the movie Kappal starring Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa, Takkar is set to release worldwide on April 17, which happens to be Siddharth's birthday. Takkar has Siddharth paired with debutant Divyansha Kaushik who has acted in Telugu movies.

Takkar will have comedian Yogi Babu playing dual roles as father and son, and has music by Nivas K Prasanna. The movie's songs sung by Simbu, Andrea and Sid Sriram have become hits already. It has been said that Siddharth will be seen in a never before seen action avatar in this movie.
