‘Shoot-out at Alair’ Trailer: Srikanth, Prakash Raj look intense in action drama

‘Shoot-out at Alair’, the suspenseful action drama, is set in the late 2000s. A jihadi named Akhtar kills policemen every year on the anniversary of Mecca Masjid blasts. He is murdered in an encounter by the Hyderabad police, who are surprised when, years later, another policeman gets killed on the anniversary of the bomb blasts.

Srikanth looks older than his age and it may well be deliberate. Prakash Raj, who plays his fellow cop, looks earnest. Directed by Anand Ranga, this 8-episode web-series will start streaming on ZEE5 from December 25.

Shot entirely during the pandemic this year, the web series has been produced by Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmitha Konidela and her husband, Vishnu Prasad, of Gold Box Entertainment.
