Shilpa Shetty Withdraws Plea to Travel Abroad

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra have once again made headlines after being accused of allegedly cheating their business partner of ?60 crore. The couple, who are facing legal proceedings in the case, had earlier sought court permission for Shilpa to travel abroad for professional commitments.

However, during the recent hearing, Shilpa Shetty’s counsel informed the court that the actress has decided to withdraw her request to travel overseas. The lawyer added that a fresh application may be filed in the future if her travel plans are revived.

Shilpa had recently approached the Bombay High Court, seeking permission to visit the United States for a work-related engagement. Reports suggest that the court had declined to grant travel approval unless she deposited ?60 crore as security, a condition that prompted the actress and her husband to withdraw their plea.

With this development, Shilpa Shetty’s travel plans stand cancelled for now, as the couple continues to face scrutiny in the high-profile financial dispute.
