Years after she shot to fame in Telugu with ‘Arjun Reddy’, Shalini Pandey awaits the release of a Hindi film titled ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, which is due to be out soon. The ‘118’ actress had to shed her weight a lot for the role.
In her latest interview, Shalini says that the Bollywood social comedy movie also required her to do a lot of dance rehearsals. Saying that she feels women are subjected to a lot of pressure to be a certain way physically, the actress adds that she does not have issues with altering her body if the script wants her to.
The Bollywood film is headlined by Ranveer Singh. Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Deeksha Joshi are part of the cast.
Seen last year in Anushka Shetty’s ‘Nishabdham’, Shalini is also known for ‘Iddari Lokam Okate’, among others. Known for ‘Mahanati’ in Telugu and ‘100% Kadhal’ in Tamil, Shalini is also doing a Tamil movie.
