Senapathi: Of grey characters, a lost gun and a killer

"A lost gun and a killer on the run! Witness a thrilling tale with twists and turns of an attempt to regain a lost gun and salvage some pride," Aha, the streaming platform, today said, unveiling the trailer for 'Senapathi'. Headlined by Rajendra Prasad and Naresh Agasthya, the web film will start streaming on Aha from December 31.

The 'Nata Kireeti' is seemingly playing a calculated and unforgiving character. Naresh Agasthya, the budding artist, is a tense cop who loses his gun. His character grows in the territory that inhabits the region between good and bad.

Towards the end of the trailer, we see the accomplished 'Gaali Sampath' actor say that one must beware of Senapathi. After films like 'Ayyare' and the recent 'Climax', it seems Rajendra Prasad has played a rare serious character.

Produced by Sushmita Konidela and Vishnu Prasad, 'Senapathi' is directed by Pavan Sadineni. Harshavardhan, Gnaneswari Kandregula, Satya Prakash, Rakendu Mouli, Ravi Josh, A Jeevan Kumar, Rocky, and Pavani Reddy have other roles. Cinematography is by Vivek Kalepu, while Shravan Bharadwaj has composed the music.
