Dhurandhar Shatters Box-Office Norms

Ranveer Singh’s latest blockbuster Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable run at the box office, rewriting records with astonishing consistency. On its second Monday, the film delivered a sensational performance by collecting a massive ₹31.8 crore nett — a figure that many films fail to achieve even during their opening weekend.
What makes this feat even more remarkable is that Dhurandhar’s second Monday collection has surpassed its own opening-day numbers, a rarity in box-office history. Traditionally, films witness a sharp decline in collections by the second Monday, but this Aditya Dhar directorial has defied all norms and expectations.
Until now, the record for the highest second Monday collection was held by Pushpa 2: The Rule, which earned ₹20.5 crore nett. Dhurandhar has not only broken that benchmark but has done so by a staggering margin, firmly establishing itself as one of the biggest box-office juggernauts in recent times.

With its current momentum, Dhurandhar is set to enter the elite ₹400 crore nett club today. Trade analysts are already predicting a sustained run towards ₹500 crore, ₹600 crore, and possibly beyond. On the global front, the film has already amassed close to ₹600 crore in gross collections, further underlining its massive appeal.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar boasts a powerful ensemble cast featuring Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles. The film is jointly produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jio Studios, with Shashwat Sachdev composing the music.
With records tumbling day after day, Dhurandhar has firmly cemented its place as one of the biggest box-office phenomena of the year.
