Sathyaraj beats Kamal Haasan as the first Indian actor to appear young using AI technology

For the past few months, we have seen that AI technology is spreading in most fields all over the world.  While there is protest to adapt it by Hollywood actors and writers here in Tamil cinema the techology has been used as a de-aging tool for the first time.

Accoring to reports Sathyaraj has been made to look like a man in his thirties by using AI technology.  Usually in films such as ‘The Irishman’ millions of dollars were spent to show Robert De Niro and Al Pacino a their younger selves.  However the team of the new movie ‘Weopon’ has not only done it much cheaper but also within fifteen days while the advanced Hollywood technology takes several months.

Currently director Shankar is in LA to use the advanced technology to show Kamal in a young avatar in his ‘Indian 2’  Now it looks like a new team has beaten the biggie in adapting the new technology.

‘Weapon’ is a movie starring Sathyaraj, Vasanth Ravi, Rajeev Menon, Tanya Hope and others. Directed by Gugan Chenniappan, the shooting of this film has been completed and the post production work is underway. Not only in Tamil cinema but for the first time in Indian cinema, an attempt has been made to reduce the age of an actor through AI technology.  The film has Gibran’s and the release date will be announced soon.
