Exposed! Puratchi Tamizhan is the main enemy of Illayathalapathy

Ever since Vijay started his 59th film with Atlee as director there have been wide speculations that the storyline is similar to that of the yesteryear Vijayakanth monster hit ‘Chathriyan’ with some reports claiming that it is an official remake.

In ‘Chathriyan’, one of the highlights is the powerful villain role played by Malayalam legend Thilakan and it was a wild guessing game as to who would play that role in ‘Vijay 59’. Untill now it was believed that director Mahendran who is in the cast is the main villain but now an amazing news that is coming out is that Puratchi Tamizhan Sathyaraj is playing the main antagonist in the film and he agreed to do the role only for Vijay. Sathyaraj a self-confessed fan of Illayathalapathy Vijay has already worked with him in ‘Nanban’ and ‘Thalaivaa’ and this will be the third time they costar. ‘Vijay 59’ also features Prabhu, Samantha, Amy Jackson,Santhanam, Sunaina, Radhika Sarathkumar and Mottai Rajendran amongst the ensemble cast.
