Director and actor Sasikumar was last seen on screen in a special cameo role in the Dhanush starrer Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta which was directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and he had acted as Dhanush's brother in the action packed romantic entertainer.

Sasikumar will next be seen in a lead role in the movie Nadodigal 2, which has been long delayed. Released in 2009, Nadodigal directed by Samuthirakani and starring Sasikumar, Ananya, Bharani, Vijay Vasanth was a superhit and now the same actor and director have come with a sequel.

After announcing several release dates previously, now it has been made official that Nadodigal 2 will be released worldwide on January 31. Nadodigal 2 also stars Anjali, Athulya Ravi, Bharani, Namo Narayanan, Gnanasambandham and has music by Justin Prabhakaran.
