Samantha’s camp unhappy with fee hike rumours

Samantha Akkineni has been consistent this year.  ‘Oh Baby’ has become a huge hit, giving a fresh lease of hope about female-centric movies.

In this context, it has been rumoured that the star actress has doubled her fee.   Where she was charging Rs 1 Cr previously, the beauty is now demanding Rs 2 Cr, gossip mills are saying.

However, Samantha’s camp is said to be unhappy with the unverified rumours.  The ‘Majili’ actress has indeed hiked her remuneration but the percentage increase is not exponential.

She will be seen opposite Sharwanand in the Telugu remake of ’96’ later this year.  The 32-year-old actress also has a small role in Nagarjuna’s ‘Manmadhudu-2’.
