Marvel superstar congratulates Johnny Depp after the trial win!

Johnny Depp won the defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard on June 1. Johnny Depp received immense support and congratulatory messages following his legal win against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard. Among the many celebrities who celebrated his victory include Robert Downey Jr.

Following the victory Robert Downey Jr who is a best friend of Johnny called the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and celebrated his victory in the defamation case against Amber Heard over FaceTime.

According to reports, Robert Downey Jr congratulated Johnny on his victory with a FaceTime call. Johnny’s close friend Josh Richman revealed the FaceTime conversation in front of Johnny’s supporters during a charity event in Los Angeles. He revealed that during the Facetime, Robert told Johnny, “John, thank God it’s over.”

In 2018, Depp sued Heard after she wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post in which she called herself a domestic abuse survivor. The two got married in 2015 and later divorced in 2017. While Johnny Depp was awarded $15 million in damages, Amber Heard received $2 million in a libel countersuit. The trial went on for six weeks and the US jury heard explanations from witnesses of both sides.
