Radio Jockey turned actor RJ Balaji has turned out to be one of the popular comedians of the industry with hit tracks in movies like Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaru, Naanum Rowdythaan, Ivan Thanthiran, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam to name a few, and the actor will be seen playing the lead role in LKG.

Directed by debutant Prabu, LKG is a political satire that has Priya Anand playing the female lead. Bankrolled by Dr Isari K Ganesh, LKG has music by Leon James, editing by Anthony and right from the first look posters, generated enough curiosity and guarantees fun elements. RJ Balaki has also penned the story and screenplay for this movie.

While initially RJ Balaji had announced that LKG will join the Pongal race, the movie did not clash with Petta and Viswasam, and now, the Tamilnadu theatrical rights of the movie have been bagged by top distributor of Kollywood at the moment, Sakthi Films B Sakthivelan, who had earlier distributed hits like Kadaikutty Singam, Viswasam and recently acquired the rights of Varmaa, Sarvam Thaala Mayam and Uriyadi 2.
