In a sad news, world-famous rapper Mac Miller has died at the age of 26. The same was confirmed by his family as well.

Reportedly, Mac Miller’s body was found unresponsive in his home in Studio City, Los Angeles. The official statement released by his family revealed nothing else other than the fact he died on Friday. “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends, and fans,” it said.

It is also worth noting here that Mac Miller’s works were always open about his struggle against substance abuse. And the irony is that the rapper had reportedly lost his life due to an overdose.

Only this May earlier, the rapper was arrested for driving under influence and crashing into a pole. Big names such as Wiz Khalifa, Shawn Mendes, Questlove, Earl Sweatshirt have conveyed their condolences for Miller’s family.
