Ramya Krishnan is a popular veteran actress in Indian cinema, who has appeared in over 260 films in five languages. She won accolades for her portrayal as Neelambari in 'Padayappa', Maggi in 'Panchathanthiram' and Sivagami Devi in the 'Baahubali Saga'. Now, the actress has shared that she enjoyed having lunch with a yesteryear Tamil star.

Sowcar Janaki is a yesteryear Indian actress who starred in over 450 movies in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. Recently, the legendary star has hosted actress Ramya Krishnan for lunch. Ramya shared pictures from their meeting on her Instagram page and also posted a video where Sowcar Janaki talks about her experience spending time with Ramya. VJ Ramya Subramaniam was also present at the party.

Ramya Krishnan shared a photo with SowcarJanaki and captioned, "Some days are extra special. Lunch with the legendary Sowcar Janaki amma, what an amazing cook (sic)." In the video, Sowcar Janaki said, "I wish this kind of get-together, warmth and love should continue for a long time. All this is happening after I have completed 90 years of age. What's the big deal about turning 90? One guy is messaging me saying that I am nearing 100 years!"

It looks like all of them had fun spending time with the legendary actress. Sowcar Janaki was recently bestowed with the Padma Shri. On the work front, Ramya Krishnan will be seen in the multilingual film, Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey with Mike Tyson playing a special role. She will be seen playing a pivotal role in the upcoming movie.
