It's known that Ram Pothineni has been reported to be wanting to do the remake of 'Thadam' in the direction of Kishore Tirumala. The project has come to fruition. Nivetha Pethuraj will play one of the heroines, while the names of the other two heroines are yet to be finalized.
The much-delayed remake will go on the floors sometime in November. An action-crime thriller, it will see Ram in dual roles.
The project was supposed to become a reality months ago. The unexpected success of 'iSmart Shankar', however, made Ram go back to the drawing-room and rethink the remake. He eventually decided in favour of doing it. In the interim period, the pre-production works only got more and more solid.
Ram's previous collaborations with Kishore are 'Nenu Sailaja' and 'Vunnadi Okate Zindagi'. The latter came a cropper at the box-office.
