After winning hearts as a versatile actor, Telugu star Ram Pothineni is now stepping into a new creative role—lyric writing. In a surprising and exciting move, the actor has penned the lyrics for a romantic number in his upcoming film Andhra King Taluka.
The song, which serves as the film’s first single, has been composed by the popular musical duo Vivek–Mervin, who are making their Telugu debut with this project. Adding further buzz to the track is the voice behind it—none other than star composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander. Known for his high-energy and soulful vocals, Anirudh’s collaboration on this track has significantly elevated expectations.
Set to release on July 18, the single is being touted as a melodious romantic number, blending Ram’s lyrical sensibility with Vivek–Mervin’s fresh soundscape and Anirudh’s captivating vocals.
“Andhra King Taluka” is directed by Mahesh Babu P, best known for the feel-good entertainer Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty. The film is produced by the reputed Mythri Movie Makers and stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead opposite Ram.
