Veteran producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu has produced 'Theri' with Ilayathalapathy Vijay which has turned out to be the biggest hit of the year and still running in theaters. He has also produced Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' which is getting ready to release on July 22 amid humongous expectations.

Interestingly the release of date of 'Kabali' is also the 100th day of 'Theri in theaters.

Both the films have received clean U certificates from Censor board and the running time hovers around two and a half hours.

Now we learn that there is yet another interesting common factor between these two big films. SPI Cinemas, the prominent multiplex chain in Chennai has acquired the distribution rights of 'Kabali' in Chennai. 'Theri' was also distributed by SPI Cinemas across Chennai.

'Theri' is still running successfully in Chennai and it is marching ahead towards 100th day feat. We can be assured that 'Kabali' will also achieve it hands down.
