Superstar Rajinikanth at 67 is as busy as many other young heroes of Kollywood. Reining on the top for more than 30 years, the star is presently acting in the lead role in the film directed by Karthik Subbaraj, one of the prominent young filmmakers of the digital era.

The shooting of the film commenced in Darjeeling last month. Now we learn that the first schedule at Darjeeling has been wrapped up. We also hear from a little birdie, that the next schedule is supposed to happen in Madurai. A grand set is being erected in Madurai and it is also expected that Vijay Sethupathi will join the shoot of the film in the upcoming schedule. However we will have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard. Thalaivar apparently plays a college professor in this film for which Anirudh Ravichander will be providing the music score.

The untitled film is being produced by Sun Pictures on a grand scale. Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ramadoss (Munishkanth), Sananth Reddy and many others are acting in this film.
