Superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster psychological horror Chandramukhi gets a sequel. Lyca Productions made the official announcement last month that P Vasu will direct Chandramukhi 2 featuring Raghava Lawrence and Vadivelu in the main roles.

We already updated you that the film's shooting will commence on July 15 in Mysore, and the schedule will last for 30 days. As we reported earlier, Raghava Lawrence confirmed that the shooting of Chandramukhi 2 kickstarts today in Mysore. As per the latest reports, Lakshmi Menon is said to be playing the female lead but there is no official info yet.

The 'Kanchana' actor met Superstar Rajinikanth at his residence today and sought blessings ahead of the shooting. He took to his Twitter page to share pictures of the same. M.M. Keeravani will be scoring music for the movie while R.D. Rajasekhar handles the camera and Thotta Tharani takes care of the production design.
