Leading actor Raghava Lawrence posted a video during Vijayakanth’s demise stating that he would like to honour the veteran by helping his son Shanmuga Pandian’s acting career. Lawrence promised to act without any remuneration in Shanmuga Pandian’s films as a hero. Now, the latest is that Raghava Lawrence is all set to fulfil his promise.

Reports say that Raghava Lawrence has done a special role in Shanmuga Pandian’s upcoming film, ‘Padai Thalaivan’, without any pay. The film’s director U. Anbu said, “I approached Raghava Lawrence after watching his video during Vijayakanth’s demise. I wanted to rope in Lawrence for a role in this movie. He agreed to do a crucial 5-minute cameo without any second thought and said that he was happy to do it for Shanmuga Pandian.

I was very happy to hear this as a director. Raghava Lawrence did this out of his respect for Captain Vijayakanth without any expectations.
