Rafael Nadal gets married to long-time girlfriend

19-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal seems to have found his happiness outside the court as well, as he recently tied the knot with long-time girlfriend, Xisca Perello.

The wedding reportedly took place at a privately owned fortress in Majorca, Spain, called La Fortaleza – believed to be Spain’s most expensive property. 350 guests were in attendance, including Juan Carlos I, the former king of Spain. An image showing a bay view from La Fortaleza was posted by the Tennis player on Friday on his Instagram. Although the official pictures from the ceremony are yet to be released, designer Rosa Clara gave us a sneak peek into Perello’s wedding outfit. “An overwhelming wedding day for all of us! We feel incredibly proud for taking part in such an important day – Mery Perelló and Rafa Nadal’s wedding. We would like to congratulate the gorgeous and unique couple, we wish you the best forever!” she had written on Instagram.

Nadal and Perello have reportedly been dating for nearly 14 years. The couple got engaged in May 2018. Xisca Perello works for the Rafa Nadal Foundation in Manacor and is a business studies graduate from the University of the Balearic Islands.
