Puri Jagannadh’s film is ‘Ismart Shankar’

Ram Pothineni’s movie with Puri Jagannadh has been titled ‘Ismart Shankar’.  The English word ‘Smart’ is prefixed with ‘I’ to indicate the way some speakers in India put the monosyllable before several English words.  (Shouldn’t the title have been spelt as ‘Esmart Shankar’?).

An action entertainer, the film sees Ram playing a character with negative shades.  Or, maybe, just a no-holds-barred, bohemian character that Puri has sometimes tried.  ”When you are bored playing the good guy…you meet this Bad Boy!! Finally!#RaPo17 with one of my all time fav @purijagan garu! Kicked about this BOLD WILD FILM!” the ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ actor recently said.  ”HyderaBADDIE” is another of his wordplay about his character in the movie.

‘Double sim card’ seems to be its punch caption. Jointly produced by Puri and Charmme, it has been described as a “high voltage” film.  Charmme is said to be overseeing the pre-production activities of this 2019 release.
