Actor Sivakarthikeyan had begun his production venture with the film ‘Kanaa’ in order to support his friends. In the audio launch of his second film ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ that took place today, the actor cum producer revealed some interesting information about the project. He said: “In today’s world there are a lot of YouTube sensations and YouTube has become something everyone likes. They have been reaching out to people across the world with their ideas, and reaching out very creatively. So I wanted to collaborate with them. Also in my future film, I wanted to introduce someone from the television field in cinema through my production. Because if not for TV, there is no Sivakarthikeyan.” This shows that whatever heights the actor reaches he has not forgotten his roots. It was heartwarming to see the actor play such a supportive role in the growth of others.
Sivakarthikeyan also mentioned that he was happy to work with the Black Sheep team because not only are they ‘jolly’ and have good satire but they also convey an emotional message through their videos. He said that these are the kinds of films he wants to do and this is how this film came together. He appreciated the Youtube Channel saying that he had enjoyed watching several of their videos including the popular ‘Fun Panrom’ prank ones.
The actor also said “I believe a lot in time and destiny in life. The title of this film is also like that. For the past 4 years my phone’s ringtone has been the ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ song. I like the lyrics a lot. Initially, it was not the title, however.” He went on to say: “I believe that the time is right. That this audio launch is happening on Kalaignar’s birth anniversary for a movie named after Puratchi Thalaivar MGR’s song, is a big blessing." He spoke highly of the cast and crew saying that "The reason for that is in each of their lives, they have been working with integrity.”
The actor who is known for his philanthropy, also praised RJ Vignesh and debut director Karthik Venugopal. About the director, Sivakarthikeyan said: “I heard that you changed the lives of some 50 people. All their blessings will be with you. This is a very small film in your career. After this, you will do many big films because you also work with integrity and want to do something. In order to change their lives, he has not only spent money, but he has also spent his valuable time for them. For all that this stage is very small, there’s a lot more in store for you.” This reminds one of the countless initiatives Sivakarthikeyan has himself taken to support others, his production ventures being one of the examples.
Sivakarthikeyan finally also expressed his happiness about working with a good team. He said: "There will be many opportunities to work with good directors, but only a few to work with good people. We all have got that chance now. I am very happy about that."
