Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal has his upcoming Pan-Indian biggie 'Mark Antony' scheduled for a grand release on September 15. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film is looking at a career-highest opening for Vishal given a solo release. Meanwhile, there is an uncertainty over the film's release now.

We have already reported to you about a legal dispute between Vishal and Lyca Productions regarding the money that the production house loaned to the actor. The issue pertains to a plea moved by Lyca Productions for the recovery of ₹21.29 crore payable by Vishal. Now, the Madras High Court has ruled an injunction restraining the release of 'Mark Antony'.

The court has also asked actor Vishal to appear in person on September 12 and explain non-compliance of an earlier court order and file an affidavit disclosing all his assets. We will get a clearer picture regarding Mark Antony's release only on September 12th. However, the movie team is positive that Vishal will appear to the court and clear the hurdles by the said date.

Mark Antony revolves around the lives of the scientists Chiranjeevi and the gangsters Mark and Antony. The story is about how a phone which can communicate to the past changes their fates. The film stars Vishal, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Sunil, Ritu Varma, Redin Kingsley, Abhinaya, YG Mahendran, and others. GV Prakash Kumar scored music for the movie.
