Dhruv Vikram’s debut movie ‘Varmaa,’ the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ was all set to be screened across theaters in the country before the release was cancelled by the producers, owing to a fallout with Bala, the director of the version.

Recent news suggests that Priya Anand has joined the cast of the restructured version of the movie, titled ‘Adithya Varma,’ and that she is reportedly replacing Raiza Wilson’s character in the unreleased version. The film will star Dhruv in the lead yet again.

It was recently announced that Girasayya, the associate director who worked with Sandeep Vanga in Arjun Reddy has been roped in to work as the director of the Tamil remake. Vanga apparently suggested his assistant’s name as he is busy with the Hindi remake currently. Also starring ‘October’ fame Banita Sandhu in the lead, the shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin in March.
