Powestar Srinivasan is not only known for his comical roles in 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' and his own production ventures 'Lathiga' and 'Ananda Thollai' but also for getting into many legal troubles regarding financial misappropriations. There are several fraud cases against him not only in Tamil Nadu but also all over the country.

On Wednesday Powerstar Srinivasan's wife Julie lodged a complaint at the Anna Nagar police station that her husband is missing along with a lump sum of cash as well. She suspected that he could have been kidnapped. The cops after investigation tried calling Powerstar's number and were surprised to see himself picking the call and explaining that he was in Ooty regarding a land deal. The more funny thing in this is his wife Julie too was with him and she sheepishly explained that after her complaint she came to know that her husband is in Ooty and has rushed there without informing the station. The Inspector warned the couple not to take the law for a fun ride and waste precious time.
