Superstar Rajnikanth had joined hands with director Shankar for the second time, after their 2007 blockbuster Sivaji, for the sci-fi thriller Endhiran which was produced by Sun Pictures.
The 2010 movie had Rajnikanth in dual roles as scientist Vaseegaran and robot Chitti and Aishwarya Rai played the female lead Sana. With Sujatha's inputs and AR Rahman's music, the Shankar directed flick had turned a massive blockbuster.
Years after the release of the movie, and with the movie also getting a sequel 2.0 which was released two years back, now it has been revealed that actor Manoj, son of directed Bharathiraja had worked as an assistant in Endhiran, and this was revealed by the actor himself with on location photos on Twitter.
Manoj is now acting along with his father Bharathiraja in Simbu's Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu.
