Mysskin’s heroine approached for biggie?

Pooja Hegde had debuted in films with the Mysskin directorial superhero flick Mugamoodi (2012), that had her paired with Jiiva. The movie did not fare well at the box office,following which Pooja had forayed into Tollywood, where she had a rather indifferent beginning with movies like Mukunda, Oka Laila Kosam ending as duds. 

She had made her Bollywood debut as well opposite the handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan in the biggie Mohenjodaro, but the movie could not help her as well. However, she was back in Telugu with her glam in Duvvada Jagannatham working well, resulting in her bagging movies like Aravindha Samedha opposite Jr NTR and the upcoming Maharshi opposite Mahesh Babu.

The latest buzz is that Pooja Hegde who had recently completed shooting for Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4, has been approached to play the female lead in Rohit Shetty’s next starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Fresh from the success of Simmba, Rohit will next direct Suryavanshi, with Akshay Kumar, as he had already introduced the character in Simmba. It is to be seen if Pooja Hegde will get onboard this cop flick which is speculated to be the remake of Malayalam hit Action Hero Biju.
