Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan' is set for a grand release worldwide in five languages on September 30th. As part of the extensive promtional activities the team is releasing the important cast members and their character posters and videos on a day to day basis.

Today Lyca Productions has unveiled the video of Mollywood legend Jayaram and wrote on Twitter "Nothing skips the ears of this court spy! Meet #Jayaram, our very own Master of Whispers! Alwarkkadiyan Nambi!".

Karthi who plays the pivotal Vandhiyadevan in the film reacted funnily quipping in Tamil "Oh Nambi you have come here too? Its impossible to block or report you...You are a constant trouble".

'Ponniyin Selvan' has music by A.R. Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varman, producton design by Thotta Tharani and editing by A. Sreekhar Prasad. The principal cast comprises of Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R Parthiban. The grand audio and trailer launch will happen at 6pm on September 6th at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai with Rajini and Kamal as chief guests.
