ADMK MLA on alleged involvement in Pollachi Gang Rape case

We had reported about four men Thirunavukkarasu, Sabarirajan, Vasanthakumar and Sathish arrested by the Pollachi police for their involvement in gang-raping and videotaping close to a hundred women in the area.  One of the girls a teenager had informed her brother who had a fight with Sabarirajan which resulted in the police involvement and the arrests.  The brother of the girl Subhash was threatened by an ADMK man A. Nagaraj asking him to withdraw the complaint against Thirunavukkarasu.

Some section of the media had reported that ADMK MLA Pollachi Jayaraman’s son is involved in the Pollachi Gang Rape case.  Jayaraman on Monday spoke to the press in front of the secretariat and vehemently denied that he or his family members were not involved in any way and it was in fact he who initiated action against Nagaraj and had him removed from the party.  He further blamed the DMK of bringing his family into disrepute to gain in the upcoming elections.

Jayaraman has counter alleged that the main accused Thirunavukkarasu is close to the son of DMK district secretary (South) Thendral Selvaraj’s son.  We will have wait and see how the case unfolds but one thing is for sure that many bigwigs are surely involved in this hideous crimes against women.
