The custodial brutality inflicted by police officers in Sathankulam on two innocents Jayaraj and Fennix which lead to their deaths has rocked the whole nation, and people have been voicing out their strong statements condemning the violence by the police.
The Madurai bench of Madras High court had taken up the case and when Kovilpatti district magistrate Bharathidasan went to enquire on the case with the officers of the station, head constable Revathi had openly revealed the brutal incidents which happened in the station and has become an important witness in the case.
Revathi, who has been in the police services for 15 years, has said that she knew she will be enquired in the case, and that she’s staying true to her conscience and added that she will tell the truth anywhere. Adding that herself and her family needs protection, which the High court and collector have promised, Revathi has said that she’ll be happy if justice is served in the case.
