Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader and actor Vijay has planned public meetings in Salem, Namakkal, and Karur districts on December 04 as part of his election campaign tour. To obtain permission for this, TVK office-bearers submitted a petition at the Salem Police Commissionerate on Wednesday.

According to the petition, Vijay will campaign only on Saturdays, limiting his tour to just 16 days over the next three months. In Salem district, he is scheduled to meet people in key locations including Erode, Salem city, and all assembly constituencies. Details regarding security arrangements, traffic management, and crowd control have also been attached to the petition.

The petition, submitted under the leadership of TVK General Secretary Bussy Anand, has also been forwarded to the DGP office for oversight. The party expects Vijay’s tour to garner widespread public support across Tamil Nadu. TVK sources expressed confidence that the police department will grant permission soon.

Political observers believe this tour will be a significant milestone in Vijay’s political journey. Like his previous campaigns, fans anticipate this one will also receive massive support.
