Pawan,CBN gear up to free AP from CM Jagan’s clutches

Rallying support for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections at the ‘Telugu Jana Vijayaketana Jenda Sabha,’ held recently, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu took a diplomatic stance towards YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, whereas Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan launched a vehement verbal assault, declaring open war against YS Jagan.

Naidu appealed to the cadre and leaders of both parties to set aside personal agendas and unite for the greater good in the elections. He emphasized that the alliance wasn’t about him or Pawan Kalyan but was forged for the people of AP, especially farmers and youth, aiming to oust the YSRCP. He reminded the audience of the state’s plight post-bifurcation in 2014 and highlighted Pawan Kalyan’s voluntary support to the TDP-BJP alliance during those challenging times. Naidu outlined his vision for AP’s development till 2029, contrasting it with what he termed as the destructive governance of the current administration. He criticized YS Jagan’s administration for its arbitrary decisions, such as demolishing the ‘Praja Vedika’ and discontinuing welfare programs like Anna canteens. Drawing parallels between YS Jagan and a “psycho killer,” Naidu questioned the fulfillment of promises made by the ruling party, particularly regarding special category status and total prohibition. He mocked the theatricality of Jagan’s actions, citing an incident in Kuppam where water was released for show but disappeared overnight. Asserting the TDP-JSP alliance’s supremacy, Naidu assured that victory was inevitable, given the meticulous candidate selection process and popular support.

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the necessity of TDP’s experience and grassroots cadre to make a substantial impact in the elections. He acknowledged past defeats but expressed renewed determination to contribute to his home state’s welfare. Encouraging support from the Kapu community, he highlighted the significance of securing 24 seats for the JSP. He lauded Naidu’s resilience, drawing parallels with historical figures like King Bali and Lord Vishnu’s Vamana avatar, symbolizing the potential to overpower adversaries. Pawan Kalyan condemned personal attacks from the ruling party, questioning YS Jagan’s fixation on his personal life and marital status. He pledged to expose any wrongdoing by the opposition and urged supporters to back alliance candidates for a decisive victory.

In summary, both leaders emphasized the alliance’s commitment to serving the people of Andhra Pradesh and removing what they perceive as a detrimental administration, albeit employing different rhetorical strategies.
