Power Star's criticism of the Centre's Demonetization and his questioning of its unwillingness to grant Special Category Status to AP was appreciated by Ravi Prakash rather forcefully.

This inspired Pawan's special 'bhaktha' Bandla Ganesh to say that he will start liking Ravi Prakash for the rest of his life!

When it was the turn of Narendra Chowdary of NTV, he described Pawan as 'Andhra Katamarayudu'. This was a politically-loaded description without doubt.

To be sure, Pawan is cozying up to the media ahead of his slated full-time political plunge before the 2019 polls. Nowadays, most politicians (if not all) need a favourable press. PSPK has had a personal rapport with Ramoji Rao of Eenadu Group ever since he supported the TDP-BJP combine before 2014 elections. How much of this support will continue is to be seen.
