R Parthiban gave the audience a memorable experience with his last film 'Oththa Seruppu Size 7', an experimental try with only one actor in the whole movie. Meanwhile, it is already reported that the talented filmmaker is working on something out of the box once again for his next project.
Parthiban is a very passionate person about cinema. His upcoming venture, "Iravin Nizhal", is the first of its kind in the history of world cinema. It is the world's first non-linear single-shot film. The fascinating director has now launched the first look of Iravin Nizhal in a motion poster format. The 1.5-minute long video also featured a clip of AR Rahman talking about Parthiban and Iravin Nizhal.
The Oscar Naayagan A R Rahman is scoring music for Iravin Nizhal. In the video, he says, "I met Parthiban sir long back and we were supposed to work on a movie called 'Yelelo'. It didn't work out but it was a very interesting script. And so, when he came up with this (Iravin Nizhal) movie, I was very intrigued and I said 'Lets do this movie'."
"He often sends me poems and very very interesting gifts. So, he's a very passionate filmmaker, actor. I was fascinated by the passion he had for cinema and the openness for trying new things or new words or new ideas for the score. So, I was imagining something when told it was one-shot, I imagined the movie to be something and he also showed me the rehearsal of the whole walk-in of the set. But when I saw the movie, I was really surprised that he could achieve so many different things. And, from the time I saw the rehearsal to what he had shot, it was completely a quantum shift, I think. He is a very very interesting artist to work with," continued ARR.
We also get a first glimpse at the film with two exhilarating posters featuring Parthiban in a night time. In one of the posters, we see Parthiban expressing his agony while a Hindu Kaali deity-like figure stands behind him with a gun at his head. The film's runtime will be 1 hour 34 minutes 36 seconds, and it involves 136228 frames. 'Iravin Nizhal' will be released in theatres very soon.
